| Well, there goes that.
Gee freaking whiz. I'm highly unimpressed, and highly unimpressed with how unimpressed I am.

| Just because it could have been, doesn't mean it had to...
Back to you It always comes around Back to you I tried to forget you I tried to stay away But it's too late
Over you I'm never over Over you Something about you It's just the way you move The way you move me
Yeah, I'm so good at forgetting And I quit every game I play But forgive me love I can't turn and walk away
Back to you It always comes around Back to you I walk with your shadow I'm sleeping in my bed With your silhouette
Yeah, should have smiled in that picture If it's the last that I'll see of you It's the least that you could not do
Oh I will Leave the light on
I'll never give up on you Leave the light on For me too
Back to me I know that it comes back to me Doesn't it scare you Your will is not as strong As it used to be...
(-John Mayer)
Never finding out - I'm probably going to regret it for the rest of my life. I'm happy for you; I owe you at least that much. You're still the one I'm thinking of, and you'll still be the 'answer to questions I don't know.'
"That's because you're you, and I'm me, and that's the way we roll."
I'll miss you.

| Tag, I'm it again...
Rules of the game: Post 5 Weird and Random facts about yourself, then at the end list the names of 5 people who are next in line to do this. Also leave a post on their xanga to let these people know.
1. Name - My parents named me after the character "Jamie Sommers" on the old TV show "The Bionic Woman", which I actually watched as a kid. I'm bionic, yo. At least, that's what I tell people.
2. Caviar - Starting from the time I was about 5, my family frequented a certain Japanese restaurant in downtown Montreal quite often. My favourite thing to eat there was - if you can believe it - caviar. My parents would actually order a little dish of caviar just for me. Yeah, I was a weird kid. Must have been that bionic-ism.
3. Ribbit, ribbit - When I was in primary school, I wasn't actually allowed to speak English outside of the few hours of "English class" we had each week. Only French was to be spoken during recess and lunch. My school was technically "bilingual", but was for most intents and purposes a French school. The intuition behind the rule was that even for francophones, English was picked up easily enough from TV, radio, friends outside the school. And I'm pretty sure it worked. I'm equally capable of mangling both languages.
4. Eyes - I was close to being blinded in one eye once, as a result of an accident I had when I was about 12 or 13. Some stupid girl accidentally leaned too hard on the back of my (heavy wooden) chair in class, and sent me falling to the floor with my (heavy wooden) chair falling on top of me. One of the chair legs socked me in the eye, and the outer corner of my eye was split. Stitching glue was needed, instead of traditional stitches, and the doctor who fixed me up said that if the chair had hit me another quarter-inch to the right, it would have been a Major Disaster. To this day, the shape of my left eye is a little different from that of my right.
5. Hand-washing - I almost never wash my hands with warm/hot water, opting instead to use only cold water. I think this is a long-ingrained habit I picked up from those lessons back in kindergarten about not "wasting water" (remember, turn off the tap while you brush! ) You can imagine that those automatic, single-temperature faucets really mess me up. Heh.
Right on, that is all.
By the way, out of curiosity, have any of you ever "accidentally" asked someone out? Yeah, it's pretty funny...in a, you know, humiliating kind of way.
Erm, anyhoo. | | |
| hullllooooooo, #21...
It's been a rather long time since the last update. September was a bit of a crazy month, what with the countless hours of LSAT classes and prep... I've pretty much spent the past week relaxing. (Well, as much "relaxing" as I can get in outside of office hours.) And now, onto law school applications...wheeeeeee......
Hockey season has commenced, and I'm a happy camper Thanks to Rogers Digital, I'm able to catch all my precious Habs' games on RDS. And by the way, I live for this guy.
Christopher Higgins
Isn't he darling?
I'm quite ridiculously smitten. He's a smartiepants too, one who went to Yale. (Who cares if he's a month younger than I am?) But lovey-dovey-ness aside, the Higgins-Ribeiro-Ryder line has been electrifying. Oh, how I've missed hockey... allez les boys!!
I'm currently listening to Bell Biv Devoe - Poison. Wow, I feel old.
Can't believe it's the end of the long weekend already... hope everyone had a happy turkey day!
xoxo bisous.

| "Derek, that was unbelievable!" "I know! I turned left!"
Aaaand the Berkeley show went off without a hitch It was ridiculously fun, and everyone was faaaahhhbulous. I heart the un.titled. family - designers extraordinaire, supermodels, dressers, friends of models (cough), everyone. That was a lot of Iceberg vodka and Steamwhistle for a Wednesday night. I'll post pictures up soon.
Preparing for the LSAT is making me crazy. Cuh-raaay-zee.
Seems like ever since the first day we met There is no one else I think of more than you Can't seem to forget, can't get you out of my head Guess the verdict's in, I'm crazy over you
How can one be down, tell me where to start Cos every time you smile, I feel tremors in my heart I have but one concern, how can I get with you Til my day comes, here's what I'm gonna do
Be sittin' up in my room Back here thinkin' bout you I must confess, I'm a mess for you Be sittin' up in my room Back here thinkin' bout you I'm just a mess with a thing for you
Pray that you'll invest in my happiness All it takes is just one simple call from you Turn my heart around, if I'm making ground Pretty baby please, tell me if I'm getting through
Tell me what is up, you see I need to know Tell me if I'm far, or if I'm getting close I have but one concern, that one concern is you Til I'm with you, here's what I'm gonna do
Be sittin' up in my room Back here thinkin' bout you I must confess, I'm a mess for you Be sittin' up in my room Back here thinkin' bout you I'm just a mess with a thing for you...
